2-CD set contains a never before released performance from Champion Jack Dupree, who was originally from New Orleans, but left his homeland (and wife), preferring the comforts of an English girl & the somewhat less exotic town of Halifax in England's northern county of Yorkshire. But wherever he laid his head, Dupree was an accomplished performer who played to the crowd with his wit & warm humor, singing the authentic blues of his roots. This project was supervised by Paul Pelletier & annotated by Alan Balfour.
