Playing in the woods while visiting family in Quebec, two youngsters (Karen Elkin, Michael Blouin) happen upon a forlorn elf (Michael J. Anderson) who's had his pouch of magic gold purloined by a bullying hunter (Ken Roberts). Their quest to help their new friend retrieve his treasure finds them getting transported to his magical homeland, ruled by the floating rock Slimo.
