Description
Vinyl LP pressing. Sixties Mod band The Action only released six singles in their lifetime - or seven, if you count a pre-Action single by The Boys - but their legend has grown exponentially since their demise in 1968. The Action were the first band signed by Beatles producer George Martin after he left EMI to set up his own company AIR Productions. In due course, produced the band's five singles issued on Parlophone between 1965 and 1967. The New Action imagines what the band's album - which was announced at the time in the press - might have been like had it actually been released. The fresh discovery of multi-tracks has allowed new stereo mixes to be created for the first time ever. This is The Action like you've never heard them before! The dozen tracks mix familiar A- and B-sides with tracks which were only issued in the 1980s, beautifully remastered by Alec Palao.
