CD41 are pleased to announce a 74 minute CD from the celebrated 1940s radio comedy Band Waggon together with several vintage wartime recordings by the show's resident comedian Arthur Askey. Band Waggon made stars of Arthur 'Big' Askey & Richard 'Stinker' Murdoch & ran on BBC radio between 1938 & 1940. Attracting almost 20 million listeners at it's peak the program also spawned a hit stage show & a film as well as a host of deathless catchphrases including a thang yow.
