A former student of Bobby Shew, Beeson displays chops a-plenty on classic jazz works such as Charlie Parker's Confirmation and Kenny Barron's Voyage, Triste by Antonio Carlos Jobim, You Stepped Out of a Dream and the Masquerade Is Over. Seven original compositions by Beeson complete the program.
