Description
The English composer Howard Blake is a living legend with soundtracks like "With Umbrella, Charm and Bowler" and the Academy Award winning "Snowman". That such a musician invites someone to make music is probably quite unlikely. That he then also places a new work on the music stand for a premiere recording is almost a miracle. The multi-prize-winning Benedict Kloeckner (b. 1989) is a rising star on the cello scene in Germany and, increasingly, internationally. In 2012 he has got his Master of International Solo Performance from the prestigious Kronberg Academy.
