Description
EU-only expanded edition including six bonus tracks. This CD contains one of the best LPs recorded by Ruby Braff in the first phase of his fertile musical career. After his spectacular eruption onto the jazz scene in 1953 as one of the great swing-Dixieland cornet player - with his appearance as a sideman on a Vic Dickenson record date (with long established veterans like Ed Hall, Sir Charles Thompson and Walter Page) - he achieved enormous success on his 1955 duets with Ellis Larkins as well as these three outstanding sessions recorded by the trumpeter in the summer of 1956.
