Description
(2-CD set) This is the meeting of two giants of improvised music that music lovers have been waiting for for a long time. The double CD documents this meeting in it's entirety. Anthony Braxton played sopranino, soprano and alto saxes, and contra-bass clarinet and Joelle Leandre plays bass. One can write volumes about this meeting, yet two words would be sufficient to describe what happened in that Heidelberg Cafe on March 17, 2007 - pure magic. Extensive notes by Stuart Broomer.
