Over the years the fine fiddling of Wally Bryson has been featured on such well-known programs as the WNOX Barn Dance in Knoxville, Tennessee; the Renfro Valley Barn Dance; the Big D Jamboree in Dallas, Texas; and the Grand Ole Opry; as well as all of the local television stations in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area. In 1969, Wally decided to try his hand at contest fiddling. That year he attended the annual Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers' Association Convention held annually at Athens, Alabama. He fiddled his way into the finals at this event and has been an outstanding competitor ever since. The Wally Bryson Fiddle Tune Collection consolidates two of his best albums of bluegrass, old time and contest fiddle tunes in one package.
