In 1932, controversy-mired filmmaker Luis Bu±uel (voiced by Jorge Us?n) was stymied for financing when his friend, radical artist Ramon Acin (Fernando Ramos), hit the lottery and put his winnings toward a documentary about the crushing poverty in Extremadura. The creation of the still-provocative "Las Hurdes: Terra Sin Pan" is recounted in this animated effort adapted from the Fermin Solis graphic novel; with the voices of Luis Enrique de Tomas, Cyril Corral. 80 min.
