Celtic music is often about the sea-faring life, so it's no surprise that some of Canada's best Celtic-influence bands have come either from the West Coast (Spirit of the West) or the East Coast (Great Big Sea, Rankin Family). It's a bit surprising, therefore, that one of the more interesting Celtic bands comes from the landlocked prairie (Edmonton, to be precise).
