Chicane recently released an album of Evolution Mixes to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his debut studio album, 'Far From The Maddening Crowd'. The original album reached #49 in the U.K. album chart, while album single 'Offshore' hit #1 in the UK Dance Singles chart, #5 in the Billboard chart (U.S.) and #14 in the UK Singles chart. His 2000 single 'Don't Give Up' feat. Bryan Adams reached #1 in the UK Singles chart. The linear progression of releases follows the pattern of the Chicane SunSets live sets - 'from the beach to the dance floor' is mirrored in the succession of the tracks made available from this new album, i.e., the tempo increases.
