Duran Duran are an UK Pop rock band famous for a long series of popular singles, albums and vivid music videos, for which they've won two Grammy Awards. They were one of the most commercially successful of the romantic bands and a leading band in the MTV-driven "Second British Invasion" of the US. Since the 1980s they have placed 21 singles in the Billboard Hot 100 and 14 in the Top 10 of the UK Singles Chart, and have sold more than 100 million records. Rio is part of the Classic Albums series released on DVD in 2008. Rio is an album by Duran Duran, originally released worldwide in 1982. It reached #2 in the UK and #1 in Australia.
