The duo known as Crown creates a unique sound that takes inspiration from early Isis, Godflesh, Floor, and even Killing Joke. Their initial releases challenged the listener with their uncommon experimentation with tempo and melding of sound and style. Now their depth-charging guitars and buried melodic tendencies take aim on a new target with hissing electronics, tribal percussion and an escalating roar that is massive, heavy and oppressive.
