Description
Diesler won support from the likes of Gilles Peterson and Mr Scruff on the strength of his debut album 'Diggin It Somethin' Rotten' and his numerous remixes for labels and artists from across the globe. Since that time the prolific young producer has not slacked off, but instead put his head down to work on a follow up LP, 'Keepie Uppies'. The album finds him working with more musicians and writing and producing a few more songs for the second album, alongside of course his quality dancefloor rockers. Both tracks on Diesler's new single (his first 7 - release for Tru Thoughts) have been rocking the dancefloors on CD-R for some time now. 'Day of the Jackal' makes you wish the World Cup was in Brazil this year; Three minutes of furious percussion, piano and heavy horns. 'Puppy Fat' (already a firm favourite with Mr Scruff) is a feverish funk track with a nod to stomping ska. Tru Thoughts.
