Ivan Howard has been releasing records for years now as the principle songwriter of The Rosebuds (Merge), Gayngs (Jagjaguwar) and his soul alter ego Howard Ivans (Spacebomb). He's back with some long-time musical cohorts and production duo Rogan & Weeks to form the group de la Noche. Traversing slivers of light caught in a quiet storm of synths and some definitely ripping sax melodies from Matt Douglas of the Mountain Goats.
