Description
The trio spent eight months of recording intermittently in their home studio in 2003 and finally completed a full-length album, Disconnection_Imminent. Upon completion of the album, trademark issues forced THE BLACK SEA to change their name to Decahedron. In the time around and after the mixing of Disconnection_Imminent, Joe Lally resigned as bassist to focus on his family and Jason and Shelby began the search for a new bassist. Without much searching the question was posed to Johnathon Ford of the bands ROADSIDE MONUMENT and UNWED SAILOR. He promptly downloaded the tracks, learned Lally's bass lines, and flew to Washington, DC, to practice. On the cusp of the release of the six-song 2005 CD recorded with Don Zientara at Inner Ear, the band continues with guest bassist Jake Brown (Moments in Grace) after the departure of Johnathon Ford, the tracks here are a expansion of their impassioned, pointed assault on puppet presidents and shadowy superstructures, an armful of socially scathing tracks as a follow up to last years Disconnection_Imminent. All that and two covers: COP SHOOT COP and BAUHAUS!
