A new collaborative recently picked up by the NuYork Disco label, Discoruption updates the classic disco sound and adds modern elements to the mix to bring something entirely new to the table. Discoruption has a unique talent for taking old favorite disco classics and reworking them to reflect their own sensibilities. One of their favorite early disco hits was "When You're Young And In Love," a Van McCoy penned classic that became an early disco hit for the Tony Award nominated actor Ralph Carter who starred in the 1970's hit sitcom, Good Times.
