Import reissue of this live album from the eclectic British Jazz/Prog rockers. Imagine if you would, the London Hammersmith. The 1930's art-deco cinema, an audience of thousands, excitement and tension in the air, last minute preparations backstage. The Enid are about to take the stage for their performance. Recorded in front of a packed house on March 3rd, 1979, this live recording shows the ability of the band to manage to play their music in a most faithful way live on stage, a feat that must be tremendously difficult to achieve. The roar of the crowd, the count down from Robert John Godfrey, lights, guitars, brass, strings, smoke and of course, the music. Artwork from the original vinyl releases have been recreated to bring it into line with other recent reissues from Inner Sanctum Recordings. 2010.
