2010 two CD collection from the legendary Rock/Country duo. With their soaring, Appalachian harmonies and chunky, jumbo acoustic rhythm guitars, the Everly Brothers brought an entirely new sound to Rock 'n' Roll, occupying an area where C&W, Bluegrass, R&B and Rock met on equal terms. This unique compilation rounds up four sides which Don & Phil recorded for Columbia in November '55, plus everything that they recorded for Cadence between 1957-59, alongside some 20 or so fascinating demos from this same period. Also featured are many collectors rarities, notably the early sides, several alternate takes, and the demos, all of which are notoriously hard to find elsewhere on CD.
