Vocalist Bill Farrell was discovered by Bob Hope in 1948 while singing in a club in Buffalo, New York. Bill accompanied Bob Hope and entourage to Berlin, Germany to entertain the troops during the Berlin Airlift. Farrell became a popular singer on radio and introduced many popular songs of the day. Among his most famous recordings were "Blue Velvet" and "You've Changed." in the early 1950's he had his own radio show in Chicago and was a frequent guest on the Frank Sinatra show. Presented here is a rare mid-70's release featuring Bill Farrell (vocals); Dave Koonse (guitar); Putter Smith (bass) and John Tirabosso (drums). All selections newly re-mastered.
