Folk songs from the Uyghur peoples of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. This album features six folk songs from the Yili region in northern Xinjiang, five folk songs from Kashgar and Artux in southern Xinjiang and two excerpts from the Uyghur Twelve Muqam.
