Description
2009 repressing. Debut solo album from the bassist/songwriter best known for his work with the Jam, Stiff Little Fingers and from the Jam. Foxton was a key member of the Jam and wrote his fair share of their songs. This 1984 album was his first offering after the Jam's split and highlights his talents as a performer in his own right. Includes the album plus three bonus B-sides (all the tracks released during his relationship with Arista Records). Highlights include the classic singles 'Freak', 'This Is the Way', 'SOS (My Imagination)' and 'It Makes Me Wonder'. As a real treat, the CD includes enhanced video footage of the Bruce Foxton Band performing the Jam classic 'Smothers-Jones'. Cherry Red.
