Description
2012 album from one of the leading figures of Argentina's experimental music scene. Champaqui is his most deepest soundscape album ever taking the concept from the sacred mountain Champaqui (2,790m) located in the Cordoba, Argentina. Being inspired of the wild nature there, he uses many field recordings blending them with synthesizers, gong and flute (not to forget that he is a skilled multi-instrumentalist as well). You can easily hear the difference between other ambient drone music, that it's not just a style but something derived deeply from his soul, and is also a natural path considering his long and vast music career. Very spiritual and meditative in the most natural way.
