Description

As just a child at the dawn of talking pictures, Judy Garland was destined for greatness as a singer and actress. Her rendition of "Over the Rainbow" at the tender age of 17 in 1939 is considered by many to be the seminal recording of the 20th century, but there were countless hits before and after than one. This 4-CD collection tracks 94 of the hits spanning her career from her first film solo at the age of 7 in 1929 with the song "Blue Butterfly" to some recordings she made in 1962, 7 years before her untimely passing.
