Handel's Water Music is a collection of orchestral movements, often published as three suites. It was premiered on July 17, 1717 after King George I requested a concert on the river Thames. This timeless collection is brought to life by Baroque specialists the Akademie f?r Alte Musik Berlin, whose critical achievements include a GRAMMY½ Award, a Diapason d'Or, the Cannes Classical Award, a Gramophone Award, an Edison Award and a German Record Critics' Award.
