A compilation of all the songs recorded to date by highly touted pop outfit The Happy Couple. In addition to the songs from the Hamburg/Brighton based duo's sold out "Four Seasons" vinyl only EP and the Matinee EP "Fools in Love", Happy Times & Petty Crimes includes their new smash hit "Song for the Troubadour," featuring Belle & Sebastian's Stevie Jackson on harmonica, as well as other smashing C86 and Sarah Records inspired indie pop songs like "Boyfriend of the Week" (first time on CD), "Another Sunny Day" and "Hopeless Case." "Song for the Troubadour" comes in three flavors: original version; remix by Carsten Meyer aka Erobique (International Pony); as well as a previously unreleased acoustic version, all of which are included here.
