Description
Having worked for many years as part of Ludovico Einaudi's touring group and performing on Einaudi's Seven Days Walking project, cellist Redi Hasa releases his first solo album, The Stolen Cello. Inspired by Hasa's own story of escaping with little more than his instrument from turmoil in his native Albania to Italy in the '90s, the album showcases the "singing" nature of the cello, exploring it's human-like voice on 12 original compositions and collaborations with contemporary composers.
