Description
Limited double vinyl LP pressing. Herzeleid?is the debut album by German?Neue Deutsche H?rte?band?Rammstein. It was released on 29 September 1995. The album's original cover depicted the band members' upper bodies without clothing. This caused critics to accuse the band of trying to sell themselves as "poster boys?for the?master race". The album is a culmination of the relationship troubles of all but one of the six band members, hence the title Herzeleid (heartbreak). Rammstein formed in 1994 in?Berlin. Throughout it's existence, Rammstein's six-man lineup has remained unchanged-lead guitarist?Richard Z. Kruspe, bassist?Oliver "Ollie" Riedel, drummer?Christoph "Doom" Schneider, lead vocalist?Till Lindemann, rhythm guitarist?Paul H. Landers, and keyboardist?Christian "Flake" Lorenz. The band helped to found a subgenre within German?hard rock?and?metal?that became known as?Neue Deutsche H?rte. The majority of their songs are in?German, but they have also performed songs entirely or partially in other languages including?English,?Spanish,?French, and?Russian.
