Description
Hickey was a band, a political movement, a naked cult and an uncomfortable force to be reckoned with. They were only here for a little less than three years but the mark they left on the San Francisco bay area and DIY punk in general can still be felt. The UCLA Daily Bruin placed Hickey right along side such diverse bands as Nirvana, Radiohead, U2, They Might Be Giants, and Wesley Willis as the greatest artists of the 90's. This, Hickey's first album, is the first of three full-length Hickey records to be released on 1-2-3-4 Go! Records. Bringing their work and vision in to the new century and in to the hands of the legions of people who never had a chance to see Hickey while they were around but were nonetheless touched and inspired. Standard Jewel Case.
