Between Post-Metal, Psychedelic Post-Rock and whatever ever other post-genre label gets writers juiced comes Leeds based riff merchants Humanfly. This release offer six vast, epic, metallic journeys through huge NeurISIS style heaviness and Pink Floyd via Mogwai atmospherics. Tunes like 'Echoes of the Roman Empire' and 'Tjanargata / a Passage to Reykjavik' are given ample space to breathe and build before inevitably crashing into a mountain of mammoth, celestial volume. With the shortest track more than eight minutes and the longest over 13, each song is a two or three part saga within itself.
