THE Mortal is a project by members Atsushi Sakurai (vo), Jake Cloudchair (g), Yukio Murata (g), Ken Sandai (b), and Takahiko Akiyama (ds). The band members create a production style that is characterized by Sakurai's unique world of lyrics that explore 'life and death' and the true nature of human beings, the malice and hatred that lurks deep in the heart, the passion and reason that waver between them, the friction and alienation that arise between society, organizations, and the outside world, self-love and self- reproach, and the dark and gloomy spiritual world . The album contains 12 songs that allow you to experience Sakurai's worldview, which is decadent and gothic, dramatic, beautiful, and original.
