Just as teenager Tara (Odessa A'zion) began to be stricken by violent visions and blackouts, her small-town community was plagued with gruesome murders. As she looked into the family history her parents (Leslie Bibb, Dermot Mulroney) kept shrouded, she found that it reached back to accused 19th Century ax murderess Lizzie Borden-and that, perhaps, a legacy of blood was reaching out to her.
