Irvine, Weldon Mr. Clean / Homey 7-Inch Single Vinyl

Back in the 80s I became a big funk, jazz, and soul vinyl collector; which opened the incredible world of the late, great Mr. Weldon Johnathan Irvine. Back in the 90s I was lucky enough to meet him; Mr. Irvine was such a calm and gentle person; he just oozed music. This laidback, kind quality resonates in his music. On this 45, we trip through the jazzy journey of Weldon's innovative keyboard work through to the double bass, and horns on the A. On the B we're in a smoky bar, with yer homies, chillin n grooving, as the melodica and guitar head-nod us along. Sublime. It is a great honour to be able to release some of his music from his Nodlow music label on to 7' for the first time.
