Description
Best remembered today for his leading role in the first feature length talking movie ever made, the Jazz Singer, released in 1927, Al Jolson was at one time America's most popular entertainer. He was often credited with introducing African-American music to white audiences and became the first star to entertain troops overseas during World War II. The vintage treasures presented here represent some of his earliest recordings. All selections newly remastered.
