The greater Lansing, Michigan area vocalist/pianist Betty Joplin presents her second album, applying her unique vocal styling to some of the greatest standards ever written. This Grammy-nominated singer's voice is a mix of Nancy Wilson's sultriness, Dinah Washington's sassiness and Aretha Franklin's soul and spirituality. She is joined on this 15 track CD by pianist Larry Fuller, bassist Larry Gray, drummer Leon Joyce Jr. and guitarist Rick Hicks. Produced by Betty Joplin.
