Light Country is the 2017 release from The Kernal- a throwback acid-country quartet hailing from Jackson, Tennessee. Light Country was recorded in Muscle Shoals, AL with Ben Tanner (Alabama Shakes) at the board. The Kernal has been performing for audiences across the United States and Canada as the band has shared the road with John Paul White (The Civil Wars). Light Country is The Kernal's first release for Single Lock Records.
