Kiss Rock & Roll Over: German Version CD

German-only pressing of this classic 1976 album from the Rock quartet featuring a re-designed version of the band's logo on the album cover. The problem in Germany with the band's original logo stemmed from the fact that Nazi Germany's Schutzstaffel otherwise known as the SS used a similar lightning bolt logo stylized with the Armanen Sig runes. ROCK AND ROLL OVER was the fifth studio album by Kiss. It was recorded at the Star Theatre, and in order to get the proper drum sound, Peter Criss recorded the drum tracks in a bathroom, communicating via video-link with the rest of the band. Criss' vocals are featured on the tracks "Baby Driver" and "Hard Luck Woman". Paul Stanley, who originally wanted the latter song to be sung by Rod Stewart, gave it to Criss, after Gene Simmons insisted Criss sing the song instead.
