This volume gathers the music of four influential Qu b cois performers from the 78rpm era: harmonica player Henri Lacroix and accordionists Joseph Plante, Joseph Guilmette, and Th odore Duguay. Although most of the sides presented here were recorded in the 1920s and 30s, their influence on more recent French Canadian music remains strong.
