LASTWORLD / FRACTURED MIRROR - Lastworld is a melodic rock/AOR project by Jim Shepard (all instruments) und David Cagle (v, MARTY & THE BAD PUNCH). Even though the first rather heavy rocker "Save Yourself" might be slightly misleading, most of the rest is rather melodic rock. Album number three is quite a collection of good or even strong songs. The Chicago-based Americans definitely deserve attention. Although the sound might not always be comparable to competitors from e.g. Sweden, the song material certainly is for the most part.
