Description
Lana Turner is swept off her feet to a Latin beat in this frothy musical comedy costarring Ricardo Montalban and directed by Mervyn LeRoy. Blonde, beautiful and fabulously rich, American heiress Nora Taylor (Turner) can't make up her mind if men love her for herself or her money. Following her polo-playing boyfriend (John Lund) down to Brazil when she hears that the air makes men more macho, Nora falls for dashing caballero Roberto Santos (Montalban) and announces that she plans to marry him. Deciding to check his sincerity, Nora tells Roberto she intends to give her fortune away, a test that shows that when it comes to men, she may have more dollars than sense.
