In this sixteenth recording the jazz guitarist has made as a leader, Peter Leitch distills the essence of the music into the solo performance, compromising nothing. Longtime fans and new listeners alike will appreciate the swing, the musicality, and the warm and vibrant guitar tone that are Leitch signature marks. The offering of 14 compositions ranges from personal interpretations of works by icons like Mingus, Ellington and Strayhorn to standards and several new original compositions. Of this latest work, Peter says: "Improvising Jazz solo, unaccompanied, is a true high-wire act, walking naked without a net. I finally feel comfortable enough with the guitar to attempt a whole CD of it."
