The NWOBHM Supergroup around ex Iron Maiden guitarist Dennis Stratton with a new version of the Christmas classic. As on this year's successful album "The Reality Of Miracles", Lionheart once again manages the balancing act between soulful sounds and powerful, melodic hard rock at a playful top level. The 7' single, released in white vinyl, is limited to 500 copies worldwide. Dennis Stratton about "Mary": "We had pop songs based on the same old formula for years and we thought it was time to deliver something fresh with a little more power and punch". "At the same time, we kept an eye on the traditional meaning of Christmas, and thus did away with sleigh bells and Ho-Ho-Hos, to release something more thoughtful. With the world so troubled at the moment, we wanted to send a positive message.
