Samuel Ljungblahd, born December 26, 1976 in Ume?, is a Swedish songwriter and soul singer with a Christian profile. His musical training from the age of 20 was received through involvement in the Salvation Army and contained much exposure to gospel. Over time, new influences have emerged, such as 1960s and 70s soul, funk and R&B. However, it is on the Free Church scene that he has his largest audience. His new album Right Now features ten tracks with several original works by Samuel alongside songs composed by Stefan Olsson, Kirk Franklin, and a cover of Fields of Gold by Sting.
