Either way, she left her mark on many generations and is still fondly remembered more than a decade after her death. In this album, Julie sings some of the great ballads of the '20s and '30s with warmth, intimacy, and deep feeling, but not without tasteful restraint. Her delivery is not pop and not quite jazz.
