Description
Woody Allen's playful poke at 19th-century Russian literature and Ingmar Bergman movies casts him as scholar and avowed coward Boris Grushenko, who becomes celebrated for his accidental heroism in the Napoleonic Wars. He returns home to an unhappy marriage with distant cousin Sonja (Diane Keaton), who's adamant he join her harebrained plot to assassinate Bonaparte (James Tolkan) in Moscow.
