Melanie Candles In The Rain: 50Th Anniversary LP Vinyl

Melanie Anne Safka-Schekeryk, professionally known as Melanie or Melanie Safka, is an American singer-songwriter. She is best known for the 1971-72 global hit "Brand New Key", her cover of "Ruby Tuesday", her composition "What Have They Done to My Song Ma", and her 1970 international breakthrough hit "Lay Down". Melanie's 3RD ALBUM - Candles In The Rain, has become an iconic album in the world of music. The album has been fully remastered and re-released in it's original cover including the lyrics to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the release of this album. There have been a number versions released over the years, and this version is the American version which includes Alexander Beetle - a track which had to be removed from the European and UK release due to legal reasons.
