This release has been eagerly anticipated since Ingrid Fliter's applauded recording of Chopin 1 & 2, which gained her a nomination for a Gramophone Award. The repertoire chosen for this recording is close to Fliter's heart. Fliter performs with the lyrical romanticism required of Schumann's Piano concerto, and sparkles during the charming melodies of Mendelssohn's G minor concerto.
