Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums from the Jazz great on one CD. Contains the complete original album Mingus Revisited. Recorded in 1960, it features an all-star group with Clark Terry, Ted Curson, Jimmy Knepper, Slide Hampton, Paul Bley, Roland Hanna, Yusef Lateef Booker Ervin, Eric Dolphy, and Mingus himself, among others. To complement this brilliant album, we have added the complete LP Jazz Portraits: Mingus in Wonderland, recorded by a Charles Mingus Quintet live at New York's Nonagon Jazz Gallery in 1959.
