Minimal Compact One & One By One CD

Digitally re-mastered reissue of the first two releases by one of the most influential bands of the '80s. They blended funky rock rhythms and incisive guitars with flavors from their native Middle East, and developed a large and fanatic following all across Europe and the USA, where some of their tracks became underground club favorites. One is Minimal Compact's originally self-titled debut EP, which came out in 1981. It contained the emblematic track 'Statik Dancin',' and immediately put Minimal Compact on the map. One By One (1983) was the band's first full-length, and contains classics such as 'Babylonian Tower' and 'It Takes a Lifetime.' Crammed Discs has gone one step forward with this reissue: they've used the original cover painting and the lyrics from both discs are represented in a manner faithful to the original layout of One By One.
